Where To Begin:
1 Complete 90 hours of approved Pre-Licensing education.

2 Pass the course final exam.
Once you have completed your course you will need to pass the course final exam with a 75% or better.
3 Pass the Indiana Real Estate Examination.
Next, you will need to take and pass the Indian state and federal exam. This is comprised of two portions, covering both state and national requirements. You can also find comprehensive Exam Prep here.
4 Choosing the right company.To be licensed, you are required to associate with a brokerage in your state. It is crucial to find the right place with the right broker and mentor since they will be serving as your go to person during this important time in starting a new career. Here are some questions to consider asking during your search:
- What training do you offer?
- Do you offer any kind of mentoring programs?
- Is there a lead generating program offered by the company?
- What sort of commission structure do they offer?
- Are there any fees involved?
- What are you looking for in an agent?
- Are their technologically up to date with the latest systems?
5 Completing the application.
